La salle de banquet du palais de la Renaissance a abrité ce 19 Mai la cérémonie de remise de trophée de la Paix et de la Solidarité au Président de la République, Chef de l’Etat Son Excellence Pr Faustin Archange TOUADERA. Une initiative de l’association des comités nationaux Olympiques d’Afrique ( ACNOA) qui vise à encourager le Président centrafricain dans sa quête perpétuelle de la paix, de la cohésion sociale et du vivre ensemble.

Ladite cérémonie était placée sous le très haut patronage du couple présidentiel TOUADERA et a vu la participation des officiels centrafricains dont le Premier Ministre, Chef du Gouvernement monsieur Félix MOLOUA.

La République Centrafricaine vient de loin. Après les troubles militaro-politiques de 2013, il fallait un homme de paix pour conduire la République et amener les filles et fils du pays à se parler et à vivre ensemble. Le Pr Faustin Archange TOUADERA se trouve être cette personnalité qui, avec sa politique de la main tendue, a su réconcilier les centrafricains avec eux-mêmes.

Cela a permis à l’ACNOA de discerner au Président de la République le trophée de la Paix et de la Solidarité. L’organe suprême de l’olympisme africain a aussi élevé la Première Dame de Centrafrique Mme Tina TOUADERA au rang de la Vice-présidente du comité pour l’égalité du genre de l’ACNOA.

Le comité national olympique et sportif centrafricain (CNOSCA) a , pour sa part, désigné le numéro un centrafricain comme son Président d’honneur.

Des athlètes centrafricains qui ont glané des médailles au nom du pays ont été présentés au couple présidentiel.

Prenant la parole au cours de cette cérémonie, le Président d’honneur du CNOSCA a pris l’engagement d’apporter son soutien au sport en Centrafrique avant de remercier le Président de l’ACNOA monsieur Moustapha BERRAF pour la distinction honorifique.

THE PRIME MINISTER ATTENDED THE CEREMONY TO PRESENT THE PEACE AND SOLIDARITY TROPHY TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC.

On May 19, the banquet hall of the Renaissance Palace hosted the ceremony to present the Peace and Solidarity Trophy to the President of the Republic and Head of State, His Excellency Prof. Faustin Archange TOUADERA. This initiative by the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOC) aims to encourage the Central African President in his ongoing pursuit of peace, social cohesion, and harmony.

The ceremony was held under the high patronage of the Touadéra presidential couple and was attended by Central African officials, including Prime Minister and Head of Government Mr. Félix Moloua.

The Central African Republic has come a long way. Following the military and political unrest of 2013, a man of peace was needed to lead the Republic and bring the country’s sons and daughters together to talk and live in harmony. Professor Faustin Archange Touadéra is that very figure who, through his policy of extending a hand of friendship, has succeeded in reconciling Central Africans with one another.

This led ANOCA to award the President of the Republic the Peace and Solidarity Trophy. The supreme body of African Olympism also elevated the First Lady of the Central African Republic, Mrs. Tina TOUADERA, to the rank of Vice-President of ANOCA’s Committee for Gender Equality.

The Central African National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSCA), for its part, has appointed the Central African leader as its Honorary President.

Central African athletes who have won medals for the country were introduced to the presidential couple.

Speaking during the ceremony, the Honorary President of the CNOSCA pledged his support for sports in the Central African Republic before thanking ANOCA President Mr. Moustapha BERRAF for the honorary distinction.
