La population du 7eme arrondissement de Bangui était mobilisée ce samedi 22 Août 2026 autour des très hautes autorités du pays afin d’assainir le principal marché du quartier Ouango. Elle était sortie avec des machettes, pelles, râteaux, balais, brouettes et des seaux pour prendre part aux côtés du Président de la République, Chef de l’État Son Excellence Pr Faustin Archange TOUADERA, du Premier Ministre, Chef du Gouvernement monsieur Félix MOLOUA ainsi que de plusieurs membres du gouvernement pour enlever les tas d’ordures ménagères autour du marché, curer les points de canalisation d’eau afin mettre un terme aux nombreux cas d’inondation qui sont très fréquents en cette période de saison pluvieuse.

Les notables de l’arrondissement ainsi que la première citoyenne de la ville de Bangui Mme Prisca Roseline MANO ont été de la partie pour donner un autre visage au marché de Ouango qui nourrit plusieurs milliers de personnes.

Il n’est pas inutile de rappeler que l’opération KWA TI KODRO est une initiative du Président Archange TOUADERA et se tient chaque samedi de 8h00 à 10h00 pour permettre à chaque citoyen du pays de nettoyer autour de lui afin de lutter contre l’insalubrité et améliorer ainsi les conditions de vie de la population.

PUBLIC SANITATION IN THE 7TH DISTRICT WAS AT THE HEART OF TODAY’S “KWA TI KODRO” OPERATION

Residents of Bangui’s 7th district rallied this Saturday, August 22, 2026, alongside the country’s highest-ranking officials to clean up the main market in the Ouango neighborhood. They came out equipped with machetes, shovels, rakes, brooms, wheelbarrows, and buckets to join the President of the Republic and Head of State, His Excellency Prof. Faustin Archange TOUADERA; the Prime Minister and Head of Government, Mr. Félix MOLOUA; and several members of the government in removing piles of household trash around the market, and to clear drainage channels to put an end to the numerous cases of flooding that are very common during the rainy season.

Local dignitaries, as well as the First Lady of Bangui, Mrs. Prisca Roseline MANO, joined the effort to give the Ouango Market—which feeds several thousand people—a fresh new look.

It is worth noting that Operation KWA TI KODRO is an initiative of President Archange TOUADERA and takes place every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. to enable every citizen of the country to clean up their surroundings in order to combat unsanitary conditions and thereby improve the living conditions of the population.
