SANTÉ PUBLIQUE : LE PRÉSIDENT TOUADERA LANCE LE PREMIER PLAN STRATÉGIQUE INTÉGRÉ 2027-2031 CONTRE LE VIH, LA TUBERCULOSE ET LE PALUDISME

Budget prévisionnel : 482,8 milliards FCFA.

L’Etat lance un plaidoyer pour combler le gap de financement avec les partenaires.

‎ Le Président de la République, Chef de l’Etat, Pr Faustin Archange TOUADERA, Président du CNLS-TP, a présidé ce jour la première Assemblée générale du Comité National de Lutte contre le VIH/SIDA, la Tuberculose et le Paludisme, CNLS-TP

‎Le Premier ministre, Chef du Gouvernement, Monsieur Félix MOLOUA, 1er Vice-président du CNLS-TP a pris part à cette haute rencontre tenue dans la salle de cinéma du Palais de la Renaissance.

L’Assemblée générale avait un objectif majeur : l’adoption du premier Plan Stratégique National Intégré VIH, IST, Hépatites virales, Tuberculose et Paludisme 2027-2031.

La cérémonie a débuté par la présentation dudit Plan, faite par le Dr Ouabita Mabo Rock.

Un budget de 482,8 milliards FCFA sur 5 ans. Selon les projections, la mise en œuvre de ce premier plan intégré est estimée à 482.882.106.816 FCFA. Les partenaires techniques et financiers ont déjà annoncé 367.263.936 FCFA de ressources sur la période.

Pour combler le gap, une séance de plaidoyer a été conduite par M. Henry Serge DONDING, Ministre délégué, Directeur de Cabinet Adjoint du Premier ministre. Plusieurs partenaires se sont d’ores et déjà positionnés pour accompagner le processus. L’OMS salue et réitère son engagement

‎Prenant la parole, le Représentant Intérimaire de l’Organisation Mondiale de la Santé, OMS, a félicité le Gouvernement pour les efforts consentis dans la lutte contre le VIH/SIDA, la Tuberculose et le Paludisme. Il a réitéré l’engagement de l’OMS à soutenir la mise en œuvre de ce Plan Stratégique National.

‎Le Président TOUADERA justifie la réforme du CNLS-TP. Dans son intervention, le Chef de l’Etat a rappelé les raisons de la réforme du Comité. « Il s’agit de s’adapter au contexte du pays avec l’intégration d’autres maladies transmissibles et de nouveaux mécanismes de riposte », a souligné le Président TOUADERA.

‎Avec ce Plan 2027-2031, la RCA se dote d’un cadre unique, intégré et multisectoriel pour accélérer vers l’élimination de ces trois pandémies.

‎PUBLIC HEALTH: PRESIDENT TOUADERA LAUNCHES THE FIRST INTEGRATED STRATEGIC PLAN FOR 2027–2031 TO COMBAT HIV, TUBERCULOSIS, AND MALARIA

The government is calling on partners to help bridge the funding gap. The President of the Republic, Head of State, Prof. Faustin Archange TOUADERA, President of the CNLS-TP, presided today over the first General Assembly of the National Committee for the Fight Against HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (CNLS-TP). ‎The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Mr. Félix MOLOUA, First Vice-President of the CNLS-TP, took part in this high-level meeting held in the cinema hall of the Palais de la Renaissance.

‎The General Assembly had one major objective: the adoption of the first Integrated National Strategic Plan for HIV, STIs, Viral Hepatitis, Tuberculosis, and Malaria for 2027–2031.

‎The ceremony began with a presentation of the Plan by Dr. Ouabita Mabo Rock.

‎A budget of 482.8 billion CFA francs over 5 years. According to projections, the implementation of this first integrated plan is estimated at 482,882,106,816 CFA francs. Technical and financial partners have already pledged 367,263,936 CFA francs in funding for the period.

‎To bridge the funding gap, an advocacy session was led by Mr. Henry Serge DONDING, Deputy Minister and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister. Several partners have already committed to supporting the process.

WHO Commends and Reiterates Its Commitment. Speaking at the event, the Acting Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) commended the government for its efforts in the fight against HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria. He reiterated WHO’s commitment to supporting the implementation of this National Strategic Plan.

‎President TOUADERA Explains the Reform of the CNLS-TP. ‎In his remarks, the Head of State reiterated the reasons for reforming the Committee. “The goal is to adapt to the country’s context by incorporating other communicable diseases and new response mechanisms,” President TOUADERA emphasized.

‎With this 2027–2031 Plan, the CAR is establishing a single, integrated, and multisectoral framework to accelerate progress toward the elimination of these three pandemics.
