Suite au décret du Président de la République, Chef de l’Etat Son Excellence Pr Faustin Archange TOUADERA élevant au grade de commandeur dans l’ordre de reconnaissance Centrafricaine le Chef de la Délégation du Comité International de la Croix-Rouge en fin de mission monsieur Philippe BEAUVERD , le Premier Ministre, Chef du Gouvernement monsieur Félix MOLOUA a procédé ce 28 Janvier 2026 à la remise de cette distinction honorifique.

La cérémonie a eu lieu dans le hall de la Primature en présence de quelques membres du cabinet de la Primature, des responsables de la Croix-Rouge Centrafricaine et de nombreux invités du CICR.

Après avoir passé 4 années en terre Centrafricaine pour ce travail humanitaire, monsieur BEAUVERD s’est rejoui de la distinction qu’il dédie à tout le personnel de la Croix-Rouge avec qui il a travaillé. Il a aussi saisi l’opportunité pour remercier les autorités centrafricaines à la tête desquelles le Président de la République pour cette collaboration dont il a bénéficié dans l’accomplissement de sa mission.

Il quitte la RCA en gardant de bons souvenirs de ce pays.

DECORATION AT THE PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE

Following the decree of the President of the Republic, Head of State His Excellency Prof. Faustin Archange TOUADERA, promoting the Head of the Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross at the end of his mission, Mr. Philippe BEAUVERD, to the rank of Commander in the Central African Order of Recognition, Prime Minister and Head of Government Félix MOLOUA presented this honorary distinction on January 28, 2026.

The ceremony took place in the hall of the Prime Minister’s Office in the presence of several members of the Prime Minister’s cabinet, officials from the Central African Red Cross, and numerous guests from the ICRC.

After spending four years in the Central African Republic doing humanitarian work, Mr. Beauverd was delighted with the award, which he dedicated to all the Red Cross staff with whom he worked. He also took the opportunity to thank the Central African authorities, led by the President of the Republic, for their cooperation in helping him accomplish his mission.

He leaves the CAR with fond memories of the country.
