Le Premier Ministre, Chef du Gouvernement monsieur Félix MOLOUA a reçu la visite de Mme Mélanie Anne ZIMMERMAN, nouvelle Chargée d’affaires des États-Unis en Centrafrique. Cette dernière était accompagnée de la nouvelle équipe dirigeante de l’ambassade américaine en terre Centrafricaine.
La diplomate américaine est venue présenter ses civilités au Chef du Gouvernement centrafricain et échanger sur sa feuille de route en Centrafrique.
Mme ZIMMERMAN est ressortie très satisfaite de sa rencontre avec le Premier Ministre qui a été une occasion de débattre du renforcement de la coopération bilatérale entre les 2 États.
Il convient toutefois de rappeler que Mme ZIMMERMAN n’est pas nouvelle en Centrafrique. Elle avait été par le passé en mission à Bangui et a passé une majeure partie de ses 25 ans de carrière de diplomate en terre Africaine.
Titulaire d’un PhD ( Doctorat) en Relations internationales, la désormais Chargée d’affaires américaine a eu à enseigner dans plusieurs universités aux États-Unis et dans le monde avant d’accepter de prendre la tête de la. mission américaine au pays de Boganda.

THE PRIME MINISTER RECEIVED A COURTESY VISIT FROM THE NEW CHARGE D’AFFAIRES OF THE UNITED STATES IN THE CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC
The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Mr. Félix MOLOUA, received a courtesy visit from Mrs. Mélanie Anne ZIMMERMAN, the new US Chargé d’Affaires to the Central African Republic. She was accompanied by the new management team of the American Embassy on Central African soil.
The American diplomat came to pay her respects to the Head of Government of the Central African Republic, and to discuss her roadmap for the country.
Mrs. ZIMMERMAN came away very satisfied with her meeting with the Prime Minister, which was an opportunity to discuss the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between the 2 States.
It should be noted, however, that Mrs. ZIMMERMAN is not new to the Central African Republic. She had previously been on mission in Bangui, and has spent most of her 25-year diplomatic career on African soil.
Holder of a PhD (Doctorate) in International Relations, the now American Chargée d’affaires taught at several universities in the United States and around the world before accepting to head the American mission in Boganda’s country.
