Le Premier Ministre, Chef du Gouvernement monsieur Félix MOLOUA a assisté à la cérémonie de l’audience solennelle de la cour de cassation à l’occasion de la rentrée judiciaire des cours et tribunaux 2025 qui a eu lieu dans l’hémicycle de l’assemblée nationale et placée sous la très haute autorité du Président de la République, Chef de l’Etat, Son Excellence Pr Faustin Archange TOUADERA et en présence des magistrats et de nombreux acteurs du système judiciaire.

Pour cette année, le sujet présenté lors du discours d’usage est la problématique de la succession dans le droit positif Centrafricain. Le magistrat Narcisse FOUKPIO a exposé les difficultés rencontrées de nos jours dans la gestion des successions à la mort des chefs de famille avant de fonder l’espoir de voir un changement dans ce domaine suite à l’adoption de la réforme du code de la famille dont le projet de loi est déjà sur la table de la représentation nationale.

« L’impunité ne doit plus exister en Centrafrique » a renchéri le Président de la République dans son message au corps judiciaire au cours de la cérémonie. Il a rassuré les acteurs du monde judiciaire qu’il n’y a pas d’impunité par rapport aux crimes commis pendant la crise militaro-politique que notre pays a connu.

Rappelons que la cérémonie de la rentrée judiciaire est une exigence légale qui impose qu’elle se tienne à la fin d’une année judiciaire (2024-2025) et au début d’une nouvelle année (2025-2026) et intervient quelqjes jours après la prestation de serment de 75 nouveaux juges. Pendant la cérémonie, le bilan des activités judiciaires de l’année antérieure est présenté. 4 nouvelles cours d’appel ont été créées, 16 tribunaux ont vu le jour…

NEW JUDICIAL YEAR FOR COURTS AND TRIBUNALS 2025-2026

The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Mr. Félix MOLOUA, attended the ceremonial hearing of the Court of Cassation on the occasion of the judicial reopening of the courts and tribunals 2025, which took place in the hemicycle of the National Assembly, under the very high authority of the President of the Republic, Head of State, His Excellency Pr Faustin Archange TOUADERA, and in the presence of magistrates and numerous players in the judicial system.

This year, the subject of the keynote address was the issue of succession in Central African positive law. Magistrate Narcisse FOUKPIO outlined the difficulties encountered today in the management of successions following the death of heads of family, before expressing the hope of seeing a change in this area following the adoption of the reform of the family code, the bill for which is already on the table of the national representation.

“Impunity must no longer exist in the Central African Republic”, added the President of the Republic in his message to the judiciary during the ceremony. He reassured the judiciary that there would be no impunity for crimes committed during the military-political crisis in our country.

The new judicial year ceremony is required by law to be held at the end of one judicial year (2024-2025) and the beginning of a new one (2025-2026), and takes place a few days after 75 new judges are sworn in.
