Suite à la résolution 2800 de 2025 du conseil de sécurité de l’organisation des nations unies (ONU), sur l’étude de faisabilité de la transition de certaines tâches de la Mission multidimensionnelle intégrée pour la stabilisation de la République Centrafricaine MINUSCA aux autorités centrafricaines, le Premier Ministre, Chef du Gouvernement a mis en place deux organes pour traiter de la question. Il s’agit notamment du comité interministériel et du comité technique mixte chargé d’échanger directement avec les experts onusiens.

Le Premier Ministre, Chef du Gouvernement monsieur Félix MOLOUA a présidé ce jeudi 30 Juillet la première réunion du comité interministériel chargé de la planification de la transition des tâches de la MINUSCA aux autorités centrafricaines dans la salle de conférence de la Cité des Chefs d’État de la CEMAC à Bangui.

Prenaient part à cette rencontre, presque tous les membres du gouvernement qui font partie du comité interministériel et les responsables du comité technique mixte.

Pendant près d’une heure, les participants se sont penchés sur les résultats des travaux du comité technique mixte et ont exprimé des avis et présenté quelques points essentiels à la bonne marche du processus.

Une autre réunion est prévue la semaine prochaine pour évaluer les travaux du comité technique qui vont se poursuivre tout ce week-end.

FIRST MEETING OF THE INTERMINISTERIAL COMMITTEE RESPONSIBLE FOR PLANNING THE TRANSITION OF MINUSCA

Following United Nations (UN) Security Council Resolution 2800 of 2025, regarding the feasibility study on the transition of certain tasks from the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) to the Central African authorities, the Prime Minister, Head of Government, has established two bodies to address the issue. These include the interministerial committee and the joint technical committee tasked with communicating directly with UN experts.

On Thursday, July 30, Prime Minister and Head of Government Félix MOLOUA chaired the first meeting of the Interministerial Committee responsible for planning the transition of MINUSCA’s tasks to the Central African authorities in the conference room of the CEMAC Heads of State in City of Bangui.

Attending the meeting were nearly all members of the government who sit on the interministerial committee, as well as officials from the Joint Technical Committee.

For nearly an hour, participants reviewed the results of the Joint Technical Committee’s work, shared their views, and highlighted several key points essential to the smooth progress of the process.

Another meeting is scheduled for next week to evaluate the work of the technical committee, which will continue throughout this weekend.
