LE RESPONSABLE PAYS DE LA BANQUE AFRICAINE DE DÉVELOPPEMENT BAD A ÉTÉ ÉLEVÉ AU GRADE DE COMMANDEUR DANS L’ORDRE NATIONAL DU MÉRITE CENTRAFRICAIN.

Après 5 ans d’exercice de ses fonctions de responsable pays de la Banque Africaine de Développement BAD, et étant arrivé à la fin de son séjour Centrafricain, monsieur Mamady SOUARE a été élevé ce 2 Octobre 2025 à titre exceptionnel au grade de commandeur dans l’ordre national du mérite Centrafricain. La cérémonie a eu lieu dans le hall de la Primature et a été présidée par le Premier Ministre, Chef du Gouvernement monsieur Félix MOLOUA qui avait à ses côtés le ministre des finances et du budget monsieur Hervé NDOBA.

En présence de certains ambassadeurs accrédités en Centrafrique, des chefs de missions diplomatiques, des membres du cabinet de la Primature et du personnel de l’équipe pays de la BAD, le Premier Ministre a remis la cravate de commandeur à monsieur SOUARE qui a beaucoup œuvré pour la mise en œuvre de nombreux projets de construction des infrastructures durables en Centrafrique.

Prenant la parole pendant cette cérémonie, le responsable pays sortant de la BAD a remercié les autorités centrafricaines pour cette distinction honorifique et a profité de la circonstance pour rappeler le début de son amour pour la République Centrafricaine qui remonte à des années de ses études lorsqu’il fit connaissance avec le roman BATOUALA de René MARAN. Arrivé sur les bords de l’Oubangui, le responsable pays de la Banque Africaine de Développement a beaucoup œuvré pour relancer la République Centrafricaine après la triste et sombre période des troubles de 2013. Aujourd’hui en fin de mission, il quitte Bangui pour rejoindre sa nouvelle affectation où il va toujours travailler pour le pays à travers la conception et la mise en œuvre des projets régionaux en Afrique . « L’histoire n’est pas finie entre la RCA et moi. Car là où je pars, je vais continuer d’écrire l’histoire de mon amour avec la RCA… à travers les projets et programmes régionaux » a conclu Mamady SOUARE qui a reçu un beau tableau symbolique de la carte de la RCA des mains du Chef du Gouvernement en guise de remerciement pour tous les services rendus à la patrie.

À titre de rappel, la mission de monsieur SOUARE a permis à la République Centrafricaine de voir son portefeuille augmenter comportant plusieurs projets et programmes dont le plus connu est le corridor 13 qui est en phase d’exécution.

THE COUNTRY MANAGER OF THE AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT BANK (AfDB) HAS BEEN PROMOTED TO THE RANK OF COMMANDER IN THE CENTRAL AFRICAN NATIONAL ORDER OF MERIT.

After five years as Country Manager for the African Development Bank (AfDB) and having reached the end of his stay in the Central African Republic, Mr. Mamady Souare was exceptionally promoted to the rank of Commander in the National Order of Merit of the Central African Republic on October 2, 2025. The ceremony took place in the hall of the Prime Minister’s Office and was presided over by the Prime Minister, Head of Government Mr. Félix MOLOUA, who was accompanied by the Minister of Finance and Budget, Mr. Hervé NDOBA.

In the presence of several ambassadors accredited to the Central African Republic, heads of diplomatic missions, members of the Prime Minister’s office, and staff from the AfDB country team, the Prime Minister presented the Commander’s tie to Mr. SOUARE, who has worked tirelessly to implement numerous sustainable infrastructure construction projects in the Central African Republic.

Speaking during the ceremony, the outgoing AfDB country manager thanked the Central African authorities for this honorary distinction and took the opportunity to recall the beginning of his love for the Central African Republic, which dates back to his student years when he first encountered René MARAN’s novel BATOUALA. Upon arriving on the banks of the Oubangui River, the African Development Bank’s country manager worked tirelessly to revive the Central African Republic after the sad and dark period of unrest in 2013. Now at the end of his mission, he is leaving Bangui to take up his new assignment, where he will continue to work for the country through the design and implementation of regional projects in Africa. “The story between the CAR and me is not over. Because where I am going, I will continue to write the story of my love for the CAR… through regional projects and programs,” concluded Mamady Souare, who received a beautiful symbolic painting of the map of the CAR from the Head of Government as a token of gratitude for all his services to the country.

As a reminder, Mr. SOUARE’s mission has enabled the Central African Republic to see its portfolio grow to include several projects and programs, the best known of which is Corridor 13, which is currently in the implementation phase.
