THE 45TH IFORD GRADUATING CLASS NAMED “FÉLIX MOLOUA”, PRIME MINISTER OF THE CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC.

It is with great pleasure that we inform the public opinion of the special event that will mark the solemn graduation of the 63 experts of the 45th promotion of the Master Professionnel en Démographie of IFORD (Institut de formation et de recherche en Démographie) named “PROMOTION FELIX MOLOUA”. The ceremony takes place today, Friday September 5, 2025 in Yaoundé, Cameroon. Due to an agenda conflict, the Prime Minister will be represented by the Minister of Higher Education.

Mr. Félix MOLOUA is a national of this school of excellence in the field of statistics and demography for French-speaking African states. He has put the know-how he acquired at IFORD to good use in his country, directing the 3rd General Census of Housing and Population in 2003. This enabled the country to obtain quality statistics and to plan interventions for the population. Having become Minister, Minister of State in charge of the Economy, Planning and International Cooperation and Prime Minister, Head of Government, Mr. MOLOUA has always worked to improve the living conditions of the Central African population with the President of the Republic, Head of State, His Excellency Pr Faustin Archange TOUADERA. Every day, he encourages young Central African executives to love work, and above all to work well.

This recognition by IFORD is no accident. It is testimony to the intrinsic value of a native son who has given all his time to working not only for his country, but for Africa too. The numerous studies carried out in the field of demography, reproductive health and African youth are proof of this.

The Prime Minister is an inspiring figure for Central African youth. His exceptional professional career and his dedication to the country make him a source of inspiration for students who aspire to excellence in this field.

Beyond the personality of Mr. Félix MOLOUA, this recognition by IFORD is also a source of national pride for all Central Africans. I hope it will encourage Central African, and indeed African, youth to work hard, because only serious, well-intentioned work is the appropriate remedy in the fight against misery, poverty and underdevelopment.
