TRANSHUMANCE TRANSFRONTALIÈRE : LE PREMIER MINISTRE FELIX MOLOUA LANCE LES TRAVAUX DE LA RENCONTRE INTERMINISTERIELLE

Le Premier Ministre, Chef du Gouvernement monsieur Félix MOLOUA a présidé la cérémonie d’ouverture de la rencontre interministérielle sur la transhumance transfrontalière. L’objectif de cette activité est d’évaluer les difficultés et d’harmoniser la gestion de la transhumance en s’appuyant sur le projet de Régulation de la Transhumance Transfrontalière en Afrique centrale, financé par l’Union européenne.

Cette initiative vise à améliorer la gestion de la transhumance, une pratique importante pour les communautés pastorales de la région. La transhumance transfrontalière est un enjeu majeur pour la sécurité alimentaire et la stabilité régionale.

Le Premier Ministre Félix MOLOUA a souligné l’importance de cette rencontre pour renforcer la coopération régionale et trouver des solutions durables aux défis liés à la transhumance. Il a également mis en avant le rôle clé du projet de Régulation de la Transhumance Transfrontalière en Afrique centrale pour soutenir les efforts des pays de la région.

CROSS-BORDER TRANSHUMANCE: PRIME MINISTER FELIX MOLOUA LAUNCHES INTERMINISTERIAL MEETING

Prime Minister and Head of Government Félix MOLOUA presided over the opening ceremony of the interministerial meeting on cross-border transhumance. The aim of this activity is to assess the difficulties and harmonize the management of transhumance based on the project to regulate cross-border transhumance in Central Africa, financed by the European Union.

This initiative aims to improve the management of transhumance, an important practice for pastoral communities in the region. Cross-border transhumance is a major challenge for food security and regional stability.

Prime Minister Félix MOLOUA stressed the importance of this meeting in strengthening regional cooperation and finding sustainable solutions to the challenges associated with transhumance. He also highlighted the key role of the Cross-Border Transhumance Regulation Project in Central Africa in supporting the efforts of countries in the region.
